  My boyfriend had back surgery 6 months ago and first off he woke up during surgery and it was never reported at all! The surgery was not even finished! Everytime he has asked about it everyone ignores him and act like it never happened.. His pain is worse than before the surgery and his leg actually goes numb now and he almost falls walking in the grocery store. A follow up MRI was done which showed the disc has already reherniated and Dr Shen says it's just scar tissue.. Also in July a month after surgery during the follow up appointment Shen looked at his incision saw it wasn't infected and signed off that he was good to go back to work. He did ask him to bed or stretch or flex or any other type of physical exam. I feel the same as another review I read here that Dr Shen acts like you are lying when his surgery does not fix the job. He probably doesn't want to ruin his reputation
